HR & Payroll in detail
Universities employ teaching and non-teaching staff under different structures, pay scales and service rules. The HR and Payroll module keeps one employee master for both, with qualifications, documents, service history and department and campus assignment, and runs the full lifecycle from recruitment to retirement.
Recruitment covers requisitions, applications, interviews, selection and offers, and new joiners are on-boarded with their documents and salary structure. Attendance comes from biometric devices or the faculty app, leave follows approval workflows, and shifts and faculty workload are tracked. Increments, promotions, transfers, appraisals and training are recorded against each employee.
Payroll is processed with allowances, deductions, arrears and statutory components including PF, ESIC, professional tax and TDS, and bank transfer files and payslips are generated. Employees use self-service to apply for leave, download payslips and submit declarations. Exit, retirement, gratuity and full and final settlement close the lifecycle with complete records.
